The sound of a classic guitar is at its best warm but still vivid, and that can be accomplished with the right materials and high quality workmanship. I make my quitars from high quality materials that are stored correctly to withstand the northern climate circumstances. I consider the basis of designing and building a quality instrument to be understanding of the wood materials and through that understanding the possibilities of the materials for each individual instrument.
For sides and back I use Brasilian and Indian rosewood and other fine woods such as Madagaskar rosewood. For tops I use German spruce or cedar. Necks are cedar and for fretboards I use ebony.
